Sunday, 14 September 2014
The newly
launched Xiaomi’s Mi 4 clearly aims at giving full completion to luxury
brands of smartphone ecosystem i.e. Apple and Samsung. Although,
Xiaomi is currently targeting only Asian countries and might not mean
much to western world yet has gained enormous popularity by launching an
exceptional Phone in just Rs.19000/.
The
Phone was unveiled in Beijing by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun,. Xiaomi’s International VP, Hugo Barra has posted the official
specifications on Google+.
What's New
- Stainless steel frame, unbelievable craftsmanship & polish.

The above specifications clearly show the leap which these guys have taken from Mi3 to Mi4 and this successor has turned out to be the fastest & most gorgeous Mi Phone ever. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz alongside 3GB of RAM, with battery backup of a heavy 3080mAh battery and 5-inch IPS display using JDI OGS full lamination display. To give hard competition to iPhone, Mi4 will sport Sony’s stacked CMOS sensors in both 13MP primary and 8MP secondary camera. Interesting feature which must attract the Mi lovers is Rapid Battery Charging Technology which will charge 60% in just 1 hour. The pure metallic look adds an impressive layer over these rich features.
Mi4
will be operating on MIUI4 only and MIUI6 will be launching around
August end and hopefully will launch in India with MIUI6 version of this
phone.
Xiaomi’s Mi 3 is apparently doing very well in India as it got
1,00,000 pre-orders and according the company, it has already sold out
it first lot of devices in just under 40 minutes by crashing Flipkart
services for some time. The same incident was reported during launch of
MOTO E and MOTO G. Mi4 will be available in China from July end only but
other countries will have to wait till September.
